Sneezing a lot

December 22, 2018, 10:15 AM
Q: My 12 week old Maltipoo has been sneezing a lot. We took her to the vet Tuesday and she has only been with us a week. She was fine at check up and got her vaccinations. Should I be concerned or is it just allergies ... she does it more after being outside?
A: If being outdoors is a common factor then it is likely dust, pollen or other environmental irritants. If she feels good and eats well and there is no nasal discharge other than clear you don’t need to do anything and it will likely decrease with time. If she got an intranasal vaccine prior to this it could be part of the problem. Even if that is the case it will resolve on its own.
