Traveling Puppy

Q: What are your thoughts on taking a puppy on a long round trip flight across the US? I have concerns that it would be stressful and would like your opinion.

A: I would be glad to advise but it would be helpful if I knew how old the puppy would be, history of any problems, traveling in coach or otherwise and the total trip time? Generally I would feel that young puppies should avoid that situation if possible.
