Q: How many meals a day should I feed my 8 weeks old Havanese? I am not home from 9-5, should I feed him once at 9 am, then go to work, and another meal at 5pm when I get home? Should I leave some dry food for him during the period that I am at work?

A: You must be sure your puppy eats well before you leave or you could come home to trouble. Leaving dry food and some water in the cage while you are gone is a good idea through the first couple weeks until your puppy adjust to its new home.
